Fireworks Fundraiser
Fund-raising continues for the traditional fireworks display on Labor
Day weekend during the Schooner Festival. On Sunday, July 13, The Manor
Inn will host a
fund-raiser on the deck. Scott Hitchcock will provide the music, there
is plenty of room for dancing, and hot and cold hors d'oeuvres are
included. A
cash bar will be available. Tickets may be purchased in advance at the
front desk of The Manor Inn, 141 Essex Avenue, Gloucester or by calling
978-283-0614 to
reserve individual tickets or a table. Tickets will be available at the
door, space permitting.

Recent Activities:
December 15 Middle Street Fire
December 29, 2007: In the two weeks since the
devastating fire on Middle Street in Gloucester left more than two
dozen people homeless, residents of Gloucester, Cape Ann and beyond
have generously donated $70,000.00 to aid the fire victims. $3,500.00 per apartment was quickly distributed to the
former residents of the 20 units of the Lorraine Apartments and additonal donations have also been sent out.
The Gloucester fund will continue to collect donations and distribute
them as they come in. Donations may be sent to:
